Toronto, ONT - Just one week after the release of their highly anticipated album VIP, MANIC DRIVE is announcing their participation in the upcoming One Life Tour. Kicking off November 1, the One Life Tour will feature other rising artists, including Fireflight, Last Watch and North 11, along with special speaker Sean G Park. Sponsored by JUCE TV, the One Life Tour is an evening of music, ministry, outreach and encouragement.
"We are so excited to be a part of the One Life Tour," explains lead singer Shawn Cavallo. "We have spent much of the past two years focused on writing and recording. This will be our first chance to spend real quality time on the road, and look forward to re-connecting with fans, thanking them for so generously helping with our Pledge Music campaign, and sharing new songs from VIP. November 1st can't come soon enough!"
For fans of MANIC DRIVE, it has been a long three-year wait since their acclaimed studio project, EPIC. Over the past decade, this award-winning trio has built a loyal international following, driven by their infectious brand of power-pop and a genuine commitment to a relationship with their audience. Two years ago, brothers Shawn and Michael Cavallo and longtime band mate Anthony Moreino decided to take their career into their own hands, choosing the path of independent artists.
This freedom has provided the incredible opportunity to create music on their own terms and their own timeline. In this spirit of newfound independence, the band was able to create the VIP album, as well as partner with other artists and organizations that share their vision and focus on ministry. The band has also found a love for film, showcasing their creativity and editing skills with the launch of their 70's roller rink inspired "VIP" video, which can be viewed here:
The One Life tour will give MANIC DRIVE the chance to showcase music from the new project as well as allow the band time to reconnect with their audience, and say thank you for a wildly successful Pledge Music campaign.
Shawn continues, "We have been fans of Fireflight for years and always look for opportunities to share the stage with those guys. We look forward to performing with the other bands as well as meeting many new friends on the One Life Tour."
